Rollie Pollie Wolfie

Tonight I put S in his crib to take a picture of the cute wolf on his bottom...when I did, he rolled right on over to his back. Thinking it was a fluke, C and I put him back on his belly and he rolled over onto his back again. We repeated this fun new trick over a half dozen times. Houston...we have a roller!

Rock-a-Bye

It may have been a fluke but on August 5 and then again on the 7th S slept ALLLLL night in his crib. Not his bassinet...but his crib. On the morning of the 8th I went and got him and C followed me into the bed. Soon after they cuddled up together and I snapped this sweet picture.

July 2014: SWS 3 Months, C 3.8

Growing big and strong, S starting cooing up a storm this month, began his life away from mama and with his "Tia Raquel"and started to outgrow his bassinet. Meanwhile, C finished up her summer camp adventures and geared up for the beginning of Pre-K3.  The kids enjoyed their first 4th together and continue to bind. S will not stop smiling at his big sister and she can't seem to give him enough hugs and kisses. Here are some of my favorite shots from July.

Back in the Saddle Again

So I went back to work this week... S went to his "Tia R" house... and he turned 12 weeks. My maternity leave with him flew! It was REALLY great... S is such a sweet baby. He keeps himself on schedule, he smiles every time he sees someone he recognizes, his dimples are to die for...and he's (KNOCK ON WOOD) sleeping pretty well...not all night, but well. S is also giggling now when you tickle him.

So as the summer winds down for C, S and I just started our regular scheduled lives. Taking in about 5 oz each bottle, our boy seems to be growing and thriving. As C would say my "vacaciones de bebe" are over.

Two Months with SWS

Today S is 2 months old! Here are some of my favorite pictures from the past few weeks. In this month S has gotten bigger and stronger. He's cooing, smiling and showing off those dimples. C is also getting bigger...she's enjoying camp and playdates with her friends. She's also been having fun cooking dinner with D a few nights a week. She's a great little helper!

Two Months

One Month

Yesterday we went for SWS first month check-up.

11 lbs 2 oz  80% weight

23" 96% height

In our first month we saw him change, we saw our first smile... he went to lots of places from the park, the Biltmore School to pick up his sister, to a coupe of malls and out to eat at Latin American Cafeteria. He enjoys being outside, listening to his sister and being with mommy.

C is doing amazing! At 3.5 she finished her second year of school, she continues to love her brother and has adjusted beautifully. She still loves to draw, play with friends, neighbors and her cousins. She enjoys music and running errands with her Coco. She's also started to really bond with her dad.
