Three years ago today, I took a test just to make sure I could drink at a friends wedding the next day. Within a few minutes, the answer was clear (pun intended, although that's not the brand I used)...I shouldn't drink for the next 40 weeks or so.
It's hard to believe that it's been 3 years since that memorable day. The best part is today, on an unusually cold morning in Miami, I was greeted with a hug, a kiss and request for milk from my sweet (mercurial) girl.
